Highlands Maternity Home

Highlands is dedicated to bringing hope to expectant young women facing an unplanned pregnancy. Highlands has helped more than 2,800 young women by offering hope, peace, joy, and a bright future.

Program Overview

Highlands/Residential Program

Highlands residential facility is free of charge designed to address the whole person: spiritual, physical and emotional. Our facility is located in beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas. We adhere to our core values of excellence, unconditional love and accountability. Our program is free-of-charge with services including individualized programs. This includes biblically-based counseling, nutrition education, fitness instruction, life-skills training and educational opportunities. Our goal is to have each young woman not only complete the program, but also discover the purpose for her life and bring value to her community as a productive citizen.

Highlands/Intake

Young women come to our program from around the country. If we cannot accept a young woman into our program, we will refer her to another program equipped to provide her with the help she needs.

AG Family Services/Adoption

For young women who are pregnant and choose to place their baby in a loving Christian home, AG Family Services/Highlands provides an in-house adoption agency. The birthmothers who choose adoption are taken through counseling and choose their adoptive couple/family. Parenting classes are also made available for the young women who decide to parent their child. These classes give the mothers practical training and guidance in numerous areas of child development.
