The Assemblies of God Family services Agency is a corporate ministry overseeing the child care ministries of Hillcrest Children’s Home and Highlands Child Placement Services and Maternity Home.  These two long time sister ministries are united on the same campus in Hot Springs, Arkansa.  Robert J. Michels the administrator of AGFSA and Ed Crawford serves as the Assistant Administrator.

The Hillcrest ministry serves the fellowship and the general public in Christian residential housing for children abused or orphaned.  Hillcrest.  Children may enter the Hillcrest residential setting through placement by parents, state social service programs, or by the juvenile court system. Upon entry an assessment is made to determine the best case plan for the child and in some instances the parents as well.  Hillcrest is licensed in the State of Arkansas for the care of children from the age of 5 through 18.

Highands serves as a refuge for pregnant teens in need of counseling, residential care or in determining the best future plans for themselves and their newborn infants.  Sometimes these plans call for making a parenting plan and in some cases it may be helpful to make adoption plans.  If adoption is the course of action selected by the birthmother Highlands is a qualified licensed adoption agency in the State of Arkansas.
