Parenting or Adoption Options
Highlands is dedicated to bringing hope and healing to young women facing an unplanned pregnancy or eating disorder. Highlands has helped more than 3,000 young women across the nation by offering hope, healing, peace, joy, and a bright future. Highlands offers the remedy to fear...a supportive Christian living environment (free of charge). Our mission is to bring healing to broken hearts and spirits. At Highlands, young women are given the love and support needed for a new start and bright future. We offer a number of classes as well as Christian counseling. When you are aware of the choices available, you can make the best decision for you and your baby.
Classes include: Biblical Studies, Restoring Godly Foundations, Finances, Nutrition, Decision Making, Parenting and Adoption Options, Sexual Integrity, Preparing for Birth, Getting A Job, Fitness, Needle Arts Lab and Living Free.
Program Overview
Highlands Residential Dorm
Highlands residential program is free-of-charge designed to address the whole person: spiritual, physical and emotional. Gals come from all over the nation to make good choices concerning their pregnancy. Our campus is located in beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas, surrounded by beautiful pines, lakes, and mountains. We adhere to our core values of excellence, unconditional love, and accountability. Our program services include individualized programs. This includes biblically-based counseling, adoption and parenting education, building healthy godly relationships, nutrition education, medical care, fitness instruction, life-skills training and educational opportunities. Our goal is to have each young woman not only complete the program, but also discover the purpose for her life and bring value to her community as a productive citizen. Our prayer is that each young lady leaves the program with a transformed life.
Highlands/Intake
Young women (ages 13-30) come to our program from around the country. For more than 40 years Highlands has helped thousands of women who have been where you are right now. We offer single-parenting and adoption education. If we cannot accept a young woman into our program, we will refer her to another program equipped to provide her with the help she needs. All interested clients, are asked to complete the initial application below. For intake questions please contact highlands@agfsa.org or call 501.262.1660.

Assemblies of God Family Services Agency Adoptions
We believe adoption is a loving and courageous choice, showing the greatness of God's grace. Adoption, by its nature is an act of restoration and free kindness blessing the birthmother and infant with the gift of family. Since 1964, we have been committed to the blessing of family through adoption.
For young women who face an unplanned pregnancy and choose to place their baby in a loving Christian home, AG Family Services Agency/Highlands provides an in-house adoption agency. The
birth mothers who choose adoption receive Christian counseling and choose their adoptive couple/family from AGFSA's prescreened adoptive families. We have educational scholarships available to young women choosing adoption. We also offer post adoption counseling.
